Open Studio
Step into our filmmaking world and discover how stories become powerful tools for change. Join us at Switchboard Studio to explore the craft of impact filmmaking, from pre-production planning to final edit, and see how we bring arts and charity stories to life.
Our open studio weekend offers a unique opportunity to peek behind the camera and discover how we transform ideas into films that create real impact for arts and charity organisations.
Learn about the tools and techniques we use across fiction, documentary, and experimental filmmaking. We'll show you how different storytelling approaches serve different purposes – how a museum might need a completely different visual language from a dance company, or why a heritage project calls for specific filming techniques that honour the past whilst engaging modern audiences.
We'll share real examples from our portfolio, discussing the challenges and breakthroughs that happen when working with diverse organisations. From capturing live performances to documenting historical archives, each project teaches us something new about the power of visual storytelling in the charity and arts sectors.
Come discover how filmmaking serves as a bridge between important causes and the audiences who need to hear their stories.
