About Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum
The museum is centred around a Grade II listed Victorian pumping station which houses the original pair of Marshall steam engines, dating to 1895. The engines are still in working order, running on compressed air. Today, the museum offers a family friendly opportunity to celebrate the industrial heritage of the Lea Valley region.
